1:18 Scale Nissan X-Trail/ Rogue evaluation

09/08/2019/1 Comment/in Interactive blog

All of us are familiar with Nissan X-trail,  it’s also one of the most common Nissan cars in the street. Both of China and the United States people are love SUVs, especially the X-trail which is a reasonable price and good quality is very popular in these two countries. We call Nissan X-trail as Rogue in America market. However, one thing that Japanese automobile manufacturer like to do  So the current X-trail is Rogue, but X-trail has three generations to date, and Rogue has only two generations, and the first generation of Rogue and the first two generations of X-trail are completely different, which is a little bit annoying.

The first generation of Rogue in the above picture, and I personally feel that it looks more like Murano.

The first and second-generation X-trail design languages are very tough, similar to the Xterra.

In 2012, Nissan launched Hi-Cross Concept, which is the later X-trail. The shape is very similar to the current production version, and the interior is definitely a bit different, but most of the elements are the same.

X-trail, which began to appear in 2013, has undergone a facelift one time before. In fact, it is nothing more than a small detail to enhance product competitiveness.

After the facelift in 2017, X-trail, the front bumper’s air intake is more hardcore. The style of the wheel hub is also in line with Infiniti, and the overall value is also improved.

This model evaluation is the 1:18 scale version of Rogue produced by Paudi, which is now sold as X-trail. The 18-scale X-trail old version also has a model, but this Paudi version is the re-produce diecast model. How it looks like, let’s take a look!

Part2

First of all, this is a sample version which is sent from the factory just now. I didn’t find too many problems when I got it. The overall shape of the front is very close to the real car, charming, the gap is even and not too wide.

In terms of headlight details, the internal structure is clear and position fit. The sample on my hand should be a US version Rogue with a yellow light. I don’t know how the production version will be in the future. The front of the car is fine and clean, and there are no excessive burrs between the parts and the parts. The design of V-motion Grill is not acceptable to everyone.

The rear of the car is also close to the height of the real car, but the model favor to off-roaded, the chassis is very high. But considering that it is an SUV, it is not weird.

The details of the rear end are in position, the edges are clean, no burrs, the gap is still alright, the etched piece is also relatively regular, and all the lights at the rear are independent parts. There is no dull eye, and the texture is very good.

The fuel tank cap is also portrayed.

The new type of wheels look better, they are not too big or small. The calipers and brake discs are extremely good.

Most of the original car manufacturer model will equip with foldable rearview mirrors, even the turn signal of the rearview mirror is a separate part, very detailed. Most of the original car manufacturer model will equip with foldable rearview mirrors, even the turn signal of the rearview mirror is a separate part, very detailed. The chrome parts near the A-pillar are a bit sloppy, but this is a test model, and I hope that there will be no such QC problems in the production version.

Give a shot closely,  you can see the camera in the rear mirror. By the way, the paint is very smooth.

The door handle is a separate part, and the “entry” button on the front door is also characterized.

The “shark fin” on the roof.

P3

After appreciating the appearance, let’s check out the playability. In a word- The playability of PAUDI’s model is unquestionable.

Although the engine is not a separate part, you still can see all elements of the engine. Connected with the metal hinge. Finally, they give up the ”dog-leg” which is awesome!

Due to space limitations, the rear door can only using the dogleg + hydraulic rod, and the opening angle is not good enough.

I discover it by chance, this license plate light and the door open button are well portrayed!

One of the most important highlights of this model is the interior. Details are committed to replica the original car. Combine with the orange and black color will make the visual effect much better.

Central, Gear stick, and details of the seat.

Sunroof slides open.

The spare tire compartment in the trunk can also be opened.

The back seat can be folded down, which is normal as a SUV.

The details of the chassis are fabulous, the movable parts are regular: non-movable suspension plus active suspension, it can be seen that this is a four-wheel-drive version of the model, the drive shaft has also been made.

Nissan Rogue is a home SUV. In fact, it is also officially launched with the Sport version. Although it is only a small change in appearance, it looks better. For example, the early version of the Rogue Sport is sharper than the regular version, but the round fog lights are a bit lovely.

The latest version of the Nissan Rogue Sport is much better. The front bumper is tougher after the small change, the key is the larger size of the wheel, but with ordinary calipers are a bit cheap.

The X-trail/Rogue actually a relatively old model on the market, but the sales volume is frightening high. After all, the reputation is good, performance not bad, reasonable price, although the shape is not outstanding, as a home SUV, the Nissan X-trail/Rogue still very competent. This Paudi’s made diecast cars, quality is stunning, I can’t wait for this product released . I heard that they will have Red, Blue, and White color.
